The Gaze

Yesterday’s post on Solitude left a lot unsaid as it related to a moment in which I felt like an intruder. But I just want to tell you than when I turned round, these were the colourful eyes that my gaze.

  1. Oh! I love that you see eyes in this picture! Having just watched two versions of The Great Gatsby (not a huge fan of Baz’ version), and was struck by the image of the eyes in the eyeglasses. I immediately thought of the film when I saw this. Strange as the colours are way different and there are no glasses… the mind sees what it sees, eh?

    1. Hi Dale, I think it’s fair to say that I see eyes in most bridges! But there again, it depends on the angle from which one see them.
      (I’m a real Gatsby fan but prefer the older version too!)
