Coffee Days

The Happy Grind

Ireland has seen the growth of a wide variety of coffee haunts in recent years.

There was a time when it was almost impossible to get what I call proper coffee but now we are spoilt for choice and the names of the coffee places are great too.

The Happy Grind is my favourite name at present but I am always on the look out for competitors. Are there any interestingly named coffee places in your life?

  1. We have, Coffee Under Pressure , Workhouse Coffee, Brown Bag, Crema Coffee Shop,Aroma Library Coffee Shop, Cinnamon Cafe and Joy Café as you can see we have far too many 💜

      1. So many names I could of gone on! We buy our youngest and his wife a coffee subscription every Christmas it lasts a year and they get different blends each month, I love the firm’s name, it’s “Has Been” lol 💜💜

  2. Not much imagination here: High Point and Uptown and maybe slight imagination, Common Ground, which is certainly something we could use more of these days. 🙂

  3. We have all kinds of coffee shops both big and small, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like your The Happy Grind. That little trailer looks like it might have been use to transport ponies in another time.

  4. Coffee takeout has been a signature of the last 17 months here, whether it’s new places popping up or established places joining the very welcome trend. We have the Horse Box, Beez Neez, Daily Grind, Bean Around the World and literally a hundred others.
