Co. Waterford Looming

We have been restricted to 5km here in Ireland since early January but April 12 is due to bring a re-opening of travel within one’s county. So, I am gearing up to go and visit my favourite haunts in this beautiful county of mine.

Here’s what I am looking foward to:

The Copper Coast
Dunmore East
Mahon Falls
Along Waterford Greenway
Mother Nature
Comeragh Mountains
Ballyduff Upper
Waterford City
The Anne Valley Swans

  1. Oh, my, I do not blame you for getting ready to go! I want to live in that house, pet those horses and sheep, ride in those red and blue boats, and have a Guinness on the sidewalk in front of J & K Walsh’s! It is so beautiful, all of it.

    1. Yes, it’s been reasonably successful but extremely restrictive. Problem is trying to open up again when such a low percentage of people have been vaccinated.

            1. We likely can, if we want to get the Vaccine, and if we want to visit masks at many of the sites, and likely not be able to visit some sites! Likely not for a little while.

  2. Love the spirit grocer frontage. I’ve been reading about the days where women in particular could nip in for a whiskey without being judged, under pretext of buying half a dozen eggs 🙂
