We have been restricted to 5km here in Ireland since early January but April 12 is due to bring a re-opening of travel within one’s county. So, I am gearing up to go and visit my favourite haunts in this beautiful county of mine.
Here’s what I am looking foward to:

Oh, my, I do not blame you for getting ready to go! I want to live in that house, pet those horses and sheep, ride in those red and blue boats, and have a Guinness on the sidewalk in front of J & K Walsh’s! It is so beautiful, all of it.
Lovely photos! 5K is very restrictive. I take it this has been successful, seeing as the distance is to be expanded soon. You’ll be excited to venture further.
Yes, it’s been reasonably successful but extremely restrictive. Problem is trying to open up again when such a low percentage of people have been vaccinated.
We likely can, if we want to get the Vaccine, and if we want to visit masks at many of the sites, and likely not be able to visit some sites! Likely not for a little while.
You don’t sound overly optimistic.
You caught on!
A bit of luck is what we need now.
I’m not surprised you’re looking forward to it Jean, lots of lovely sights to re-visit.
Love the spirit grocer frontage. I’ve been reading about the days where women in particular could nip in for a whiskey without being judged, under pretext of buying half a dozen eggs 🙂
Looks like s beautiful part of the world.
It’s heaven.

It’s a very special and undiscovered county.
I can’t do it justice. Simply wonderful as a county as it is like a miniature Ireland.

I hope it goes well.
All of this looks amazing!!
It is !
You must be looking to this day with anticipation as all of it is beautiful and inspiring…Thank you for sharing it with us…
It’s lovely to know it is out there waiting.
So blessed with all those beautiful places. I can’t wait for more pictures.
I will do my best to oblige!
It looks like you have some neat places to visit! Maybe someday we will be able to visit those favorites of yours?!?
You’ll have to see it for yourselves.
Still on my “bucket list!”
But which number?
😦 Not far enough up the list! We got to send the Covid-19 virus out to sea!
I know. It’s very complex.
Yes.
Covid has done a number on travel. Our trip to Israel was cancelled.
Ah, that’s a big disappointment, I’m sure.
Immense, but like you, we cope and do local travel.
Will you get to go at a later date?

Re-visiting is so exciting and it will be so different to December in terms of light and foliage.
I’d be looking forward to that too!!!!
How about a trip over some time?
Gorgeous!
Thanks Dale. It’s a great county.

We’ve come a long way, haven’t we?
