And You?

When I die Dublin will be written on my heart.

James Joyce

I have been pondering about this all morning. I think I would say that Co. Waterford will be written in my mine but a few other places are very dear to me too.

The Metal Man, Tramore, Co. Waterfront

Where will be written on your heart?

  1. Funny, I love Jersey though my spiritual home is definitely in Cork. But still I anxiously follow the fortunes of Birmingham City despite not having lived in that city since 1977. I guess Cork on my heart and football team on my headstone.

  2. The happy times hubby and myself spent meandering the highways and byways of Vermont, New Hampshire and MA…So many beautiful places and wonderful memories but there’s no place like home…I love the song..”On The Road Again”…”Green…Green Grass Of Home”…

    1. Thanks for visiting, Maggie.
The Blue Ridge Mountains have certainly been captured well in song across the world so feel familiar. They must be magnificent.
I’m glad you like my Tramore photo. It’s the view I am lucky to have just a minute or two down the road.

    1. Willow,
Thanks for bringing me off to Tuscany. I have never been there (yet!) but you’ve really whetted my appetite.
Frost Folley looks great too and the London I have been to, especially Wimbledon, was most appealing.

      1. London boroughs of Brentford, Ealing, Chiswick and Hayes and of course the West, Eastends and central love it all, plus so many happy memories of Tuscany, Frost Folly is Ruby’s favourite ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
