August Farewell

The ripening blackberries and the slight tinge of orange on some of the chestnut trees signal that it is time to say goodbye to August for yet another year. But what glories await!

      1. The smile will do, I am at a low ebb, the drain is painful but after three months what can I expect…not long til I see the drs and hopefully they will have an operation date for me. …sorry about my low humour πŸ’œ πŸ’œπŸ’œ

  2. Fall colours, the change in light, the change in the smell and feel of the air! The crisp coolness is approaching here, and every day I see the tiny changes that signal arrival!

    Though we are entering my favourite season. Bring on the cool (especially at night for sleeping)
