Next Monday is the day that we are due to be allowed travel 20km from home which is an increase from the current 5km restriction here in Ireland.
I’m like a child about it – thinking of all my favourite places that have been just out of reach. High on the list is a road along the Copper Coast which is festooned with Sea Pinks in May, early June. I am hoping to catch them while they are still in their glory.
But, there will also be all the beaches that are so close to my heart:

and going out to see the swan family in the Anne Valley…

So beautiful ..We use to live not far from the beach and we would go walking after the beach goers left..I have a nice collection of asst. beach rocks, pieces of drift wood and beach glass…These are pleasant memories when I look at them from time to time…
Oh I know about beach collecting, Joni. I’m quite the addict as all my pockets attest.
Can’t wait for your pictures!
Hopefully they will capture at least something of the beauty that awaits.
Just gorgeous photos of a gorgeous place. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure, Sandy
Glad for you.
Many thanks.
How is the ‘freedom’ for you?
Almost back to normal, though I can’t visit my mother without wearing a mask, and only for 20 minutes. This would be on the porch with someone with us at all times to ensure compliance.
I’m so glad you can visit your mother again. Having a third party must be difficult but I don’t suppose he/she likes it either.
We haven’t tried it yet, though I suspect she won’t like it, and might not even do it more than once!
I certainly wouldn’t like it but then again just to be able to look into each other’s eyes.
Enjoy the new freedom
I certainly intend to, Tric.
Lovely to hear from you. Hope all’s well.
Enjoy your extra freedom 💜
Oh, I certainly intend to. x
😎
Beautiful photos, as per, Jean.
Thanks, my dear!
The Copper Coast road looks gorgeous with those flowers. Great to have your freedom back Jean.
Thanks Roy, it’s a great feeling AND they have extended it to the whole county or 20km if crossing county boundaries. So, I have Waterford back!
