There’s a family of swans out on the Anne River that I’ve been watching for months now.
The seven cygnets have got very grown up and I know that one of these days they will have flown away. This makes me think of W.B. Yeats’ poetry.
Today, the swans were waiting for me so I clicked record, just in case.
Here’s how they were:
Beautifully serene.
Hi Sandy, I could watch them forever. x
Seven signets that is amazing Jean!!
A big family alright, Willow, and the parents have been doing a great job.
They are doing very well indeed!!
So relaxing and calming! What a lovely opportunity. I just might have to look at that every time I feel stressed–I literally feel a physical difference from the few seconds of watching that video, and I was not even stressed at the moment–I have had a great day!
So glad you found it relaxing, Suz.
Holy Moly = big family, how beautiful .
Pretty amazing to me too, Paul.
Reblogged this on Perth Words… exploring possibilities. and commented:
So beautiful…
Thank very much, Frances.
My pleasure, always.
I see swans are a protected species in Ireland as in the UK. They’ve always had loads on the river at Stratford-upon-Avon. Those you have videoed are a beautiful bunch Jean.
I have a complete thing about them, Roy. Goes back years and years.
