Window-Shopping

Funny how things can catch the eye!

This BIG sign in a shop window in Waterford has been playing on my mind since Sunday morning ~ and has brought me from chuckles to parenting, to economics to child-trafficking and, of course, to good old punctuation.

        1. Well, I do think accidents happen more often that way. And I can’t believe that siblings can impart the same wisdom that parents can.

  1. Be careful Jean – it’s a trap! Have you ever bought goldfish? You can get them for 99 cents each – and then to take care of that $1,98 investment you have to buy $12,347.13 worth of aquarium, filters, plants, stand, food, medicine, lights, air pumps, hoses, gravel, etc, etc. Then they have babies and to keep them alive you have to buy a second aquarium and so on.

Kids are exactly the same – no matter how good the sale, it’s the cost of owning them that is debilitating. Ha!
