Heaven indeed, thank you.
My pleasure entirely!
Gorgeous Jean – you are such a tease – I love the ocean and haven’t seen it for 20 years. Thank you
I sure hope you get to see it again soon. That’s a definite form of starvation.
😀 We’re getting closer but the actual date keeps squirting ahead – now planned for about 3 weeks time – as of now.
Brilliant! Hope there’s no further delays.
Beautiful, Jean. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
The pleasure is mine!
I think of the song “Ebb Tide”…and when I have worries how the waves seem to wash them away…Beautiful..
You come in so strong…Washing away things so wrong…A new song begins…
Glad this resonates, Joni.
That’s beautiful. I could listen to the waves crash all day. Thank you.
You’re more than welcome.
Thank you Jean much needed ❤
Very happy to oblige, Willow.
Where is that “love” button? To have this in your own backyard… so lucky are you!
Beyond lucky, Dale!!
The ocean never looked better —
I say that about it every time I see it, Sandy. Just back from it now and it was blissfully calm.
What beautiful blue, blue water and gentle waves, Jean. How I’d love to dive right in for a swim! ~ Jane
Lovely to hear from you, Jane.
Nothing like the sound of the ocean. Love this peaceful beach.
Hi Inese, I often think how the sea is all about the senses. It’s a pity one can’t convey the salty, seaweedy smell in some way ~ other than words, of course!
Yes, the smell of the sea is like nothing else.
The only other smell that really gets to me like the sea is that of burning turf in the West of Ireland!
You mean, in the stove? I don’t think I know how it smells.
No, when it’s being burned in a fire in an old cottage and you get the smell of the smoke from the chimney. It’s indescribable really!
Wow, I would love to smell it.
You simply have to. West Cork, Co. Galway or Clare are your best bets from my experience.
Have to go in winter, I guess.
Not necessarily. Late August can be a good time, especially around fishing villages.
Lovely Jean, it’s easy to spend forever watching the tide 🙂
Easy and essential!
Amazing! This is just what I needed right now – so thanks for sharing, Jean!
My pleasure, Malin. xx
