Watching great tennis from The Australian Open;
Sitting in front of a warm fire with a sleeping dog on the rug at my feet;
Seeing snowdrops bobbing their brave heads;
Knowing that the beach is waiting;
Being alive and well.

If you have your health all else will follow..that to me is what happiness is…
Hi Joni, a wise doctor highlighted to me once that the most important things are those we put at the end of lists not at the top. So, you can see where I put health too! I’d add that the health of those we love is key to ours. I tend to call it all ‘peace of mind.’
Glorious!
Delighted you like it, Willow.
🙂
Yes, the women’s final last night was wonderful…great players both of them. I love the colour of the Dahlia? and I love the contrasting picture you paint:):)
Hi Olga, yes it is a Dahlia ~ out of season I know and I was very aware of the Autumnal look compared to the Wintery look out the window when I was writing. But then, again, seasons are all upside down across the globe so it seemed appropriate.
As for the tennis, what a Ladies’ Final and I sobbed when Murray lost today. He’s a hero of mine!
Watching the tennis:
Feminine and Brute Force grunt and growl
as racquet thuds,
strikes and strides flash yellow and peach
mind games.
Williams vs Sharapova, turning 18.
