Co. Waterford Awaiting Spring

Co. Waterford was beautifully dressed this morning and I couldn’t but think of these lines from W.B. Yeats:

Earth in beauty dressed

Awaits returning spring.

Here’s a little glimpse of how it was:

      1. You’re ahead of us. We are not to far behind and will be the envy of the east coast of Canada again. Actually they will spit bullets at us and are already doing so as I posted slippers with skating blades underneath with a caption of This is how Canadians take the garbage out in the winter. I thought it was funny obviously they don’t have a sense of humor lol

          1. Yes back east it does. They start getting their spring flowers in April but soon catch up in the summer and then they go ahead of us in the summer with the vegetable garden. This is in Ontario Canada. I lived in New Bruinswick which is further east in Canada and the first tulips were bloomed the first week of June. Plus getting sprayed with slush by a car and having that slide down my neck was the straw on the camel’s back and I found myself back on the west coast of Canada. The actual neighborhood I live in is the hottest spot in all of Canada.

  1. We have just begun our Winter and we have to wait until March..but we’ ve been lucky enough to experience unusal warmer days mixed in with the wintry cold days. If we don’t get alot of snow I for one will be happy. It’s the cleaning up of it that I mind…not the beauty of it. Great pictures something to dream about…

      1. Today the fickle weather got up to around 38o now tomorrow we expect freezing rain, but up North they will get some snow..The ski resorts will appreciate that.

  2. I really love the little Robin and will make seeing one for real one of my first priorities next time I visit Ireland (2017) :):) Waterford certainly seems like a beautiful place and how lucky we that we get to see some of it here:)

  3. Beautiful walk along your place! I think the red wagon photo is my fave! And either I am really behind, or you have been on a whirlwind of posting of late–seems as if I look in the morning and it is one thing, and then in the evening it is another–two Jeans in one day sometimes–woohoo.
