Beautiful, Jean!
Thanks Sue. They make a lovely couple.
They do 🙂
Nicely done. Beautiful photos of horses. I am very partial to horses.
Hi Joseph, yes I’m a horse lover too. Such noble creatures.
Yes they are. I love the smell of barns with the hay in them.
Truly beautiful and heartfelt xxx
☺️
Very fine animals Jean
They surely are. Pass them on the way to the beach and that’s one of the extra treats.
We’re two of a kind, a commitment to one and other, forever and always friends…beautiful horses..
That’s lovely, Joni. Thanks.
How beautiful, both the poem and the photo:):)
Glad you like them, Olga. 😊
Love your poem, and the photograph. I owned a tabby once, and he had a thing for white kitties. One of them was a house cat, so they looked at each other through the window for hours.
That must have been lovely to witness. Animals can bring such joy.
Hi Jean,
What beautiful horses. This brings back a memory of when Mr. Ken and I were vacationing in Vermont. We were on the grounds of an historical house (the name escapes me at the moment), and we were having a picnic. Parked close by was a horse trailer with the most beautiful white horse inside. This beautiful horse was not happy at being cooped up on such a nice day and he kept knocking his hooves against the floor.
Nancy
Glad you like them Nancy. I love hearing about your adventures with Mr Ken!!
Lovely — and so sleek — no winter coats on your horses in Ireland? We had horses when I was growing up, and that connection is something I miss now, a lot. (but maybe I don’t miss all the currying I had to do in the spring, when they shed their coats)
Yes, horses here do get winter coats but a bit later than this generally. A lot depends on the weather and it’s been extremely mild so far this year.
awe… Love the horses… They are so serene 🙂 ♥ >3
Thanks Jackie, they’re dotes, aren’t they?
hmmm… Is “dotes” a slang expression of your fondness for them? … then, yes! 🙂 ♥ ❤
I have a terrible tendency to forget that not everyone is from Ireland! Yes, ‘to be a dote’ is a term of great endearment.
Aw Jean… then you’re a darling dote, too ❤ Well, perhaps that is redundant 🙂
Another entry for my brain's Irish-English dictionary 😉 ♥ ❤
