  1. The color Blue reminds me of the sky on a summers day..lying down on a blanket at the beach and looking up into the sky..such a pretty shade of Blue..Songs that come to mind “Blue Skies”..Beautiful ..Beautiful Blue Eyes…Blue Danube Waltz….Flowers…Blue-bells..Why do they say when you’re feeling sad..”Feeling Blue”..the color is serene ..peaceful…

    1. Joni, thanks for such a great comment. I had been wondering about ‘feeling blue’ as well. You’d think ‘feeling black’ might be more appropriate, though black has its moments as well.

      1. Yes black as in black sheep, being in the red (debt),painting the town red.. yellow meaning a scardy cat or chicken, being in the pink…it’s funny how we use colors to describe how we feel or the result of economics..being in the black or red…some things are not black or white but grey as in grey area…the color purple signifying royalty..white for purity…..Interesting how colors ..color our world…

  2. Gorgeous shade of blue, Jean, which reminds me of the lake we’re headed for tomorrow for a week. I can’t wait to be in the mountain air. Lovely words to accompany also! xxx
