Delicousness

Sea of Astilibes
Sea of Astilbes

I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority.

  1. The photo is amazing Jean. I’ve never seen those flowers here in Canada. Beautiful. The quote is very profound as well. I just had a similar conversation yesterday concerning the complex and dangerous means of producing electricity with nuclear reactors when it can be done with such low energy alternatives as solar cells. The human body generates so much energy from such small amounts of input and at 36 Celsius as opposed to the 1,000’s of degrees in a reactor. We tend to attack problems – trying to best nature – with a big hammer, when an appreciation of nature would quickly show us how to finesse energy from what is around us.
