Jealously I say…. lovely and sweet. My special guy (Henry the golden) has been gone for over a year now, and how I wish I could take him for a walk on the beach. Stan is obviously a scholar and a gentleman. Give him a pet from me.
My heart goes out to you over Henry the Golden. A day never goes by that my precious Sophie who died 18 months ago doesn’t enter my thoughts.
I’ll happily give Stan a pet for for. ‘A scholar and a gentleman,’ ~ I’ll be looking a little differently at him from now on!!
This must be what “doggie heaven” feels like–he is in his element and savoring it and we can just savor right along with him in the emotion the picture elicits.
Beautiful… both words and picture 🙂
Thanks Sue. You know how it is!!!
We do 😉
Such loyal friends.
Oh yes. Even if this one does think it her duty to disembowel the sofa daily!
…. or his duty to clean out the fridge!
Well, both Stan and Ani are welcome to the last bit of camembert in mine 😉
No doubt they’d share it.
Don’t know about that!
Oh well, he’s very chivalrous!
Ani isn’t. Not when there’s cheese. 🙂
Stan is wonderful!
I’ll 1,000th that, Robin!
Stan the Man
❤
Yeah, not so ‘Puppy Stan’ anymore!
All grown up!!
Never!!!
🙂

Wew! Stan the Man. Wow, has he ever grown. So noble looking.
Awesome picture Jean and wonderful haiku.
Hi Paul, he’s grown alright and certainly knows how to pose!
Life at the seashore…Seeing things that we can not…..What is he thinking…
One of my favorite places..lucky you to have such a beautiful dog..reminds me of our grand-dog Buster who has since passed on…
Joni, thanks for the lovely haiku.
Yes, I know I’m really fortunate to have both Stanny and the sea.
I love the sea and I love dogs…your photo and wonderful words were just that….wonderful:):)

Aww, love the photo and your words are perfect, Jean. I love “basking in sea of choices.”
Hi Lauren, thanks for your kind words.

Suz, ‘doggie heaven’ is an interesting concept, I always think.
What a cutie-pie.
Thanks Elen! I’ll tell him you said that.
