Connections was my theme word here on Social Bridge for 2014 and I’ve loved working with it. It’s brought me to places of all descriptions that I never anticipated and, most of all, it has enabled me to forge new friendships here in blogosphere and build on existing ones.
Over the last while, I’ve been pondering what the theme word/s for 2015 should be and I’ve decided on Stepping Out.
Meanwhile, tonight is the night for casting the Wishing Stones. Let me know if you want me to cast a stone for you ~ either in the comments or through my email: jeantubridy@aol.com
I’ve just realised that I pressed publish ahead of myself so I would like to wish everyone a great ending to 2014 and a happy, healthy, peaceful 2015.
More than anything, I would like to thank you for all your support during 2014. It means the world to me!
Awesome picture of the stones Jean – it brings back memories of walking the beach. They are so rounded and smooth and all unique and individual and different colors. It’s peaceful just looking at the picture. I already asked if you could throw awsishing stone for me -thank you.
It has been a good year for building relationships for me as well. I am so pleased to have met you and look forwrd to each of your posts. In the spirit of stepping out, I have a guest post over at Anawnimiss, a young East Indian blogger: a post about a community drawn together in a blizzard in Newfoundland. https://anawnimiss.wordpress.com/2014/12/31/the-blizzard-a-guest-post-by-paul-curran/comment-page-1/#comment-3965 If you have a chance to drop by, I would be honored.
Happy New Years to you and yours and may 2015 be happy, healthy, and prosperous.
I am so glad we connected Jean 🙂
Happy New Year to you!!
Thanks Val, me too. All the very best for 2015.
Have a wonderful evening Jean, and give my love to the waves. I wish you all happiness for the coming year.
Sue, thanks very much. I certainly will send your love. Happy New Year to you and Ani.
Happy New Year!
Thanks so much Anarette. Hope 2015 is kind to you.
Thanks!
You’re more than welcome.
Wishing you and your family a year filled with wonderful happenings and good health to top it all off. Happy New Year! What a wonderful way to start the New Year “wishing stones”…
Hi Joni, I hope you have a great year too and that the wishing stone that I’ll cast will work its magic.
Happy New Year! I’ll throw some wishing stones over here too and will think of you on the other side of the pond.
Brilliant Sheila, that’s great. Will you cast one for me over that side please? Happy New Year
Of course! There will be a few with your name on them wishing happiness.
Ah thanks, Sheila. Enjoy it!
I absolutely love the red rock in the center of all the others! It rather asks the question “what stands out and why?” in your world, doesn’t it?
Hi Suz, that red one really pushed itself forward. Not a trace of the shrinking violet about it.
thanks Jean… I also love the red rock in the centre, for myself it symbolizes the heart chakra and the love and compassion which this coming year will bring.. Blessings and peace to you and your family on this New Years Eve… hugs and more hugs…XXOO
Hello Jean, that’s a lovely interpretation of the red stone. It certainly has warmth.
I shall keep my fingers crossed! Thank you .
I wish you all I wish myself! xxxxxxxx
Thanks very much Willow. xxxx Happy New Year.
All the very best to you and your family for 2015 Jean. I’ve enjoyed your ‘connections’ over the past year – you’ve sure worked hard on projecting your thoughts, inviting others and all the while championing your town and county. Look forward to seeing where you take Stepping Out in 2015.
Thanks very much Roy. Goodness only knows where ‘Stepping Out’ will bring me but that’s the fun of it all.
Happy New Year to you too!
I’ve enjoyed connecting with you this year Jean and I’m intrigued to see where you’ll take ‘stepping out’ to 🙂
Thanks Andrea. I’m delighted we met up too, thanks to Roy!
I suspect ‘stepping out’ and I will go hand in hand, but sometimes one of us will take the lead. So goodness only knows where we’ll end up. Hopefully, like the Owl and the Pussy Cat ~ hand in hand, on the edge of the sand, dancing by the light of the moon.
Enjoy your New Year and hope the harvest is wonderful.
Perfect photo for this! I will look forward to seeing where your steps take you in 2015. A new year always gives me hope that the year will provide me with another change to make the most of my days as I step out into it tentatively. Best New Year wishes to you from the Gulf Coast of Texas! It is cold here today – 46.
Thanks very much, CC. Hope you have a great year too. Delighted to have connected in 2014.
Happy New Year, and my your have the time of your life stepping out with all those connections you made last year. 🙂 Hugs and best wishes.
Sandy, thanks for your kind words and I hope you’ll step out with me as we lean into 2015.
Happy New Year, Jean. I hope 2015 brings lots of good things to you and your family (including Stan).
Thanks Joanne and I hope you have a very pleasant 2015.
Thank you for the good work you have dedicated to this blog and for including me as a part of your connections on 2014. Let’s hope for more interactivity from my side in your new project.
All the best for 2015!
Ah thanks, Dana. Let’s raise a glass to 2015!
Cheers Jean! Be blessed!
Happy new year, Jean. Hope it’s a good one for you. Keep up the great blogging.
Thanks Dave. You’re very kind.
Wishing you the very best of everything and looking forward to wherever stepping out takes you in 2015 🙂 ♥ ❤
Happy New Year to you too, Jackie. ☺
Wishing you a wonderful new year (while thinking what a good idea it is to have a theme). May you step out, and forward, into new adventures…
Thanks Sandy. I think your ‘de-cluttering’ (if that’s the correct terminology) is a wonderful theme. It’e one I should adopt as it might help me to sort through stuff but alas …..
