I was out and about yesterday here in Co. Waterford and these are a few of the sights that compelled me to pause and and ponder …..
From Tankardstown towards Helvic, Co. Waterford
School House near Bonmahon, Co. Waterford
The Cove Bar, Stradbally, Co. Waterford
Patterns in West Waterford
Wild Flowers at Lismore Castle, Co. Waterford
To the Comeragh Mountains through the Fields
The Copper Coast, Co. Waterford
I often wonder what catches other people’s eyes as they travel along either these roads or the ones near their home places, wherever in the world they may be.

Stunning! I especially love the wild flowers. And the red insert on the pub! Those iron pilasters under the red paint are quite old.
Suz, many thanks for writing. I’m so glad you like the photos.
My heart leaps at the sight of the Cove Bar. I just love old Irish bars the likes of which just aren’t to be found anywhere else.
Roy, I’ve been thinking a good deal about this comment of yours and I guess you’re right. How easy it is to take our old Irish bars for granted! But I promise, I’m in the throes of putting that right and every pub I see now, your words sound in my ears!
Oh what a lovely day you had!Great shots…
Thanks Clare! Yes, it was just one of those ‘getting away from it all’ kind of days but not stepping outside Co. Waterford!
It is so beautiful and peaceful, I will never get bored with those landscapes. You are so lucky!
Thanks very much, Kha. I know I’m beyond lucky to live in such a stunning place.
Absolutely breathtaking scenery! I especially love the pub photos, but I see beauty in a cut hayfield, too. Even the ones on these hills around me in Iowa. Thank you for sharing your day.
Hello Joe, lovely to hear from you and it’s my absolute pleasure to share Co. Waterford with you. Great to be connecting with Iowa!
Such beauty and peace I am jealous! 🙂 xxxxxxxxxx
Willow, as my late father used to say ‘ you may share in my happiness!’
Thank you so much.xxxx
Flowers do it for me every time. Not cut ones though- I really dislike flower shop bouquets-but that wildflower meadow is glorious.
RH, I’m with you all the way about flower shop bouquets ~ though I think they are becoming so much more artistic and creative than they used to be.
Yeah, the wildflower meadow is a dream!
