Nature’s Jewels

Is there any jewellery that is more precious than a daisy chain? I think not but what about YOU?

  1. A poem I wrote as a teenager: When I was just a little girl, I used to sit for hours, weaving pretty necklaces from the fields of flowers. Clover makes a pretty chain, Daisies make a crown, little yellow dandelions, woven round and round. Life was simple, easy then, I never made a plan, just weaving pretty necklaces, enjoying flowerland. ~Sandy Penny

  2. No, definitely not a jewellery person. One functional watch and a gold band on my finger is quite enough. I hate clutter and if it’s expensive jewellery, rather than cheap bling, then you’re more likely to get mugged. Daisies are prettier left in the ground, than made into a chain, as it’s sad when your daisy necklace or bracelet goes all limp after a short while.
